Roulette basics
A ball is spun on a numbered wheel. You bet on where it will land: a single number, a group of numbers, a colour, odd or even, high or low.
Wheels
- European — numbers 1–36 and a single zero (37 pockets).
- American — 1–36, zero and double zero (38 pockets). The extra pocket raises the house edge.
- Multiplier variants — some rounds add random multipliers to straight-up numbers and pay less on regular straight bets. Check the game’s paytable.
Bets
- Inside bets (a number, a split, a street, a corner) pay more and hit less often.
- Outside bets (red/black, odd/even, 1–18/19–36, dozens, columns) pay less and hit more often. Zero makes them lose.
Each spin is independent. Previous numbers do not change the next one.
Limits matter
Each table and game has its own minimum and maximum bet, and separate limits for inside and outside bets. Check them before the first spin.
