Baccarat in two minutes
Baccarat compares two hands, Player and Banker. You bet on which hand ends closer to 9, or on a Tie. You never play the hand yourself — the cards are dealt by fixed rules.
Card values
- Ace counts 1; cards 2–9 count their face value.
- 10, J, Q and K count 0.
- Only the last digit of the total counts: 7 + 8 = 15, so the hand is worth 5.
How a round goes
- Each hand gets two cards.
- A total of 8 or 9 on the first two cards is a “natural” and the round ends.
- Otherwise a third card may be drawn for Player, then for Banker, following the table’s drawing rules. You make no decisions after betting.
Payouts
On a standard table a winning Player bet pays 1 to 1 and a winning Banker bet pays 1 to 1 minus a commission; Tie pays more but wins far less often. Commission, side bets and exact payouts differ between tables — always check the paytable shown in the game before you bet.
Every round is independent. Patterns on the scoreboard do not predict the next result.
